Domaine de Barroubio

M eet Raymond Miquel ! This passionate and dynamic winemaker is a creator of unique wines. He owns the Domaine de Barroubio, a 27 hectare estate located in the small picturesque village of Saint Jean de Minervois. Situated just West of Béziers, it is located in the Languedoc Roussillon region in the South of France and is exclusively planted with the “Muscat Petits Grains” variety. These small grapes turn gold when fully ripe and deliver a high sugar content, making them ideal to produce sweet and fortified wines. Over the years, the Domaine de Barroubio’s Muscat AOP Saint Jean de Minervois has been rewarded many times. The 2016 vintage, for example, won a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2017 in Paris and 2 stars in the Guide Hachette 2018. Great job Raymond !
